Golf America to feature The Club at Ibis
Located in West Palm Beach, Florida, The Club at Ibis is a private country club and features three exceptional Nicklaus family-designed golf courses, along with a 20-acre practice facility. The Legend Course – our course of the week – was designed by Jack Nicklaus, The Heritage by Jack Nicklaus II, and The Tradition by Steve Nicklaus.
The Legend Course originally opened for play in 1991. In 2017, the course underwent a major renovation and today this Nicklaus Signature Course, often described as his “masterpiece” is a favorite of club members who enjoy playing on the same course that tested the pros as the site of The National Senior Club Professional Championship and the LPGAs Office Depot Tournament. Golfweek magazine has named the Legend one of the country’s “Most Distinctive Courses.”
Also On The Show
In our weekly golf tip, PGA Director of Instruction at the Ibis Golf Academy Martin Hall offers up a great golf tip on using the shoulders to get more distance off the tee. Plus, TPI certified golf fitness instructor Mindi Boysen demonstrates a simple exercise routine to help strengthen and add flexibility to the wrists.
