Providence Country Club to be featured on Golf America
There are nearly 600 golf courses in the Tar Heel State. From the Atlantic Ocean to the mountains of Western North Carolina, some of the best designers in the game have created some of golf’s greatest layouts.
This week nationally syndicated television show Golf America makes a stop at the McConnell Golf owned and operated Providence Country Club in Charlotte.

About Providence Country Club
Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, Providence Country Club was founded in 1989, and features an 18-hole championship-style golf course originally designed by Dan Maples, and then redesigned in 2018 by noted golf course architect Kris Spence. Providence became part of the McConnell golf family in 2016, and since then has been through a series of upgrades that included a new fitness center, kids room, golf shop, and culminated with Spence’s work on the golf course.
