The golf course at The Water’s Edge was named of the best in the country by Golf Digest when it opened.

Established in 1988, The Water’s Edge Country Club is a private, 18-hole PGA Championship golf course designed by R.F. Loving, Jr.

Nestled along 13.5 miles of the Smith Mountain Lake shoreline in Penhook, Virginia, The Water’s Edge offers unparalleled lake and mountain views, including golf course visibility from Smith Mountain Lake on 15 holes.
